Lyman McLaughlin Obituary
Lyman Lee McLaughlin, 79, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord, Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born June 17, 1941, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Dwight and Elizabeth (Walton) McLaughlin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan (Fisher) McLaughlin, on June 4, 2019; and brother, Dwight McLaughlin,
Lee was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1959, and joined the United States Air Force in 1960. He worked for L.A. Benson Co. as a salesman, Shearer Industrial Supply Co. as a territory manager, and last at Haddon Craftsman in Bloomsburg.
Lee is survived by his two children: Matthew McLaughlin and his wife, Renee, of Hubert N.C., and Ann Marie McLaughlin-Swank of Fort Valley, Ga.; six grandchildren: Troy Donning Swank, Zachary Jacob Swank, Colton James Swank, Kevin Schreck, Skyler Lee McLaughlin and Blake David McLaughlin; and five great- grandchildren.
Memorial services for Lee and his wife, Susan, will be Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 123 N. Market St., Bloomsburg, with his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
