Lynne Marie Adams

Lynne Marie (Meeker) Adams, 72, of Jerseytown passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 1, 1940 in Washington D.C., a daughter of the late Mason and Clara (Hines) Meeker. She graduated from Berwick High School in 1957. She was the owner/ operator of Lynne's Personal Care Home in Jerseytown, Pa until she retired in 2006. She attended Katy's Church. Lynne enjoyed quilting, cooking and baking, canning, helping others and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by two children Donna Kay and Theodore Nelson Adams both passed away at infancy, a brother Larry Meeker and three sisters Louise Bowman, Margaret Bower and Marie Doyle. Lynne is survived by her husband Theodore "Ted" Adams, with whom she married on February 14, 1959, a son Jerry Adams and his wife Cindy of Wapwallopen, a daughter Darnell and her husband Jimmy Holloway of Bloomsburg, two grandchildren Daniel Sharrow and his wife Tanya of Orangeville and Ashley (Sharrow) and her husband Jeff Temple of Danville and a great grandson Kolbie Sharrow, a sister Shirley and her husband Jack Watkins of Clinton Twp. of Michigan. Services will be Monday at 6:00 pm at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville, Pa 17846 with Pastor Allen Acor officiating. Burial will be at Summerhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Friends unable to attend may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com.
