Marian E. Oman, 86, of Orangeville, passed away November 29, 2010 at the Bloomsburg Hospital. She was born February 24, 1924 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Howard and Eva Viola Chamberlain Widmer. She graduated from Orangeville High School in 1942. She was employed as a bus driver. She liked knitting; sewing, crocheting and she loved to travel. She was a Girl Scout leader in Orangeville and a den mother for pack 65 Orangeville. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay L. Oman who passed away February 3, 2000 and two grandchildren Jayme and Cory Oman. She is survived by two sons James L. Oman and his wife Cheryl of Nelson, Pa and Thomas J. Oman and his wife Debra of Eden, Utah and a daughter Linda Huttenstine of Orangeville, three granddaughters Jennifer Spencer, Angie Huttenstine and Jill Oman and two great grandchildren Benjamin Spencer and Sarah Grace Spencer and two brothers and sisters. Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville with Pastor Darwin Goshorn officiating. Burial will be at McHenry Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
