Marjorie E. Crawford 86, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord, Monday August 23, 2021, at her residence. She was born February 14, 1935, in Numidia, a daughter of the late Leon and Beata (Shoup) Hendricks.
She graduated from Locast Township High School Class of 1953. In her early years she worked for Eminee Shirt Factory and then Milco. In 1987 she and her husband started G&M Crawford Inc. For over 30 years she was Mt. Pleasant Tax Collector. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband. Marjorie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they were the joy of her life.
Marjorie is survived by her two sons; George S. Crawford and his wife Cindy, Steven W. Crawford and his wife Michelle, all of Bloomsburg, seven grandchildren; Mitchell wife Sara, Amanda, Rachel, Danielle, Madison Crawford, and Shane wife Melissa, and Heather wife Laura Hauck, five great-grandchildren; Constance and Amelia Crawford, and Carley, Renee, and Kaitlyn Hauck. As well as brother Leon Levi Hendricks and his wife Gloria, sister Maxine Dawn Hornberger, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Burton Crawford whom passed on July 26, 2016. They celebrated 62 years of marriage as of April 17, 2016. She also was preceded in death by daughter Jody L. Harvey who passed away July 3, 2012, three grandchildren; Bradley Hauck, Ryan Crawford, Lydia Crawford, two brothers; Robert Kenneth Shoup, Donald Leroy Hendericks, and sister Rose Lorraine Kundrick.
Services will be Friday at 4:00 pm at Canby Lutheran Church, 529 Millertown Rd. Bloomsburg Pa. 17815, with her Pastor Rev. Stanley Bower officiating. Burial will follow immediately at the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to the Canby Lutheran Church, 529 Millertown Rd. Bloomsburg Pa. 17815 in her memory.
