Mary E. (Fox) Earnest, 63, passed away peacefully in her Scott Township home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, after an illness. She was a resident for over 30 years. She was born in Bloomsburg, on Aug. 5, 1957, to the late John L. Fox Sr. and Dawn M. (Kishbaugh) Girton. Mary attended Central Columbia schools. She had several jobs over her lifetime. Most recently she was employed by Bloomsburg Care & Rehab in the housekeeping department until retiring due to illness in 2019. She was affectionately known to her family as Moo Moo.
Mary enjoyed trips to Lancaster, with her boyfriend, Lester Longenberger Jr., spending time with her family, and especially relaxing on her front porch. The children in Mary’s life held a special place in her heart.
Mary is survived by her beloved daughters: Angela Earnest and companion, Ron Farver, and Jennifer Farver, wife of Scott Farver. She has four grandsons: Michael Earnest, Skyler Farver, Brandon Slusser (fiancee, Brandi), and Bryan Farver; also, two great-grandsons: Jaxson Bailey and Braydon Slusser. She will also be greatly missed by her six brothers: Stephen Roeder, Larry Roeder (companion, Mary Adams), Dan Roeder (wife, Caffie), John L. Fox Jr. (wife, Sue), Scott Fox (companion, Sue Englert), and Michael Fox (companion, Jean Fisher). She had numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Per Mary’s last wishes, there will be no services. Please carry your favorite memories of Mary with you in your heart.
