Mary Emma (Lee) Kuhar

Mary Emma (Lee) Kuhar, 77, of Bloomsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Grandview Nursing Home.

She is survived by her lifetime partner, Ron Ortman II, of Bloomsburg; her four children: David Buma of Stillwater, Denise Vajda of Bloomsburg, Deborah Young and her fiancé Rod Coombs of Shickshinny, and Dennis Kuhar and his wife Michele, also of Bloomsburg. She is also survived by her bonus daughter, Ashley Creveling, and her husband Adam—a treasured addition to Mary’s family. Mary was a devoted grandmother to eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret (Sipe) Lee, three brothers—Guy, Bill, and John—and her sister Margie.

She spent many years working as a waitress, building lasting connections with those she served. In her free time, Mary loved camping, boating, gardening, and traveling, and she carried a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

A private service will be held at Bunnell Funeral Home in Millville, PA, on Saturday, July 26th. Following the service, all friends and family are invited to honor Mary’s life at a celebration gathering at the Millville Legion, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
