Mary Stackhouse Obituary
Mary Stackhouse 93, of Unityville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday December 4, 2018.
Mary was born May 3, 1925 in Jordan Township, a daughter of the late Henry and Martha (Watts) Gordner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Stackhouse Jr. in 1974 and a son Carl Robert Stackhouse, three brothers Raymond, Carl and Bert Gordner and a sister Laura Mae Mead.
Mary attended Salem Schools. She was a member of the Salem Ladies Aid, and was the Secretary of the Salem Cemetery Assoc. Mary enjoyed flowers, gardening, collecting salt and pepper shakers, making Quilts, puzzle books and doing Puzzles.
Mary is survived by two sons, Dale L. Stackhouse and his wife Donna of Unityville and Paul E. Stackhouse and his wife Janet of Camp hill. Six grandchildren, Dana, Bradley, Duane, Stephanie, Heather and Paula, five great grandchildren, Bailey, Bryn, Bradley Jr., Evelyn and Abram.
Services will be Friday, December 7, 2018 at the former Salem United Methodist Church, 8768 Moreland Baptist Rd Unityville Pa. 17774, at 11:00am with Pastor James Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 am till time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Geisinger Hospice and home Health Care at 410 Glen Ave. Bloomsburg Pa. 17815
