Mazie Creveling, 82 of Orangeville, Pa, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at The Balanced Care. She was born June 3, 1928 in Jackson Township, a daughter of the late Harry and Pearl Knouse Fritz. She graduated from Benton High School in 1946. She has been at her present address for the last 64 years. She attended Mill-Green United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her collection of turtles and doing plastic canvas work. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Samuel (Buck) Creveling who passed away September 5, 1998. Also by twin sisters Irene Townsend and Arlene Force. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Crawford and her husband Derl of Millville, Mrs. Marcia Temple and her husband Richard of Orangeville, a son Gerald Creveling and his wife Cindy of Orangeville, six grandchildren Brian and Troy Crawford, Shawn and Shannon Temple, Tiffany and Kelley Creveling and eight great grandchildren and a sister Mary Ellen Hock of Bloomsburg. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Mill-Green United Methodist Church, Millville with her Pastor Richard Leonard officiating and Mathew Verstraeten Pastor Associate. Burial will be at Rohrsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her memory to Camp Spifida in care of Camp Victory, Po Box 180, Millville, Pa 17846.
