Mildred A (Gardner) DeWald

Mildred A. DeWald, 100, of Millville, went to be with the Lord April 18, 2021, at the Gardens of Millville. She was born May 16, 1920, in Hughesville, a daughter of the late Harvey and Annie (Hilner) Gardner.

She attended Jerseytown School and was a member of White Hall Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting, cooking, and canning. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Mildred is survived by her children; Gary L. DeWald wife Ruth of Millville, D. Neil DeWald wife Elsie of Millville, Karen Davis husband Gary of Danville, Patricia Dobson husband John of Montoursville, Donna Masker husband Albert of Berwick, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. As well as brother Ray Gardner of Milton, and several nieces and nephews.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents as well her husband Thomas Adam DeWald who passed on March 7, 1987, son C. Thomas DeWald, brother Charles Gardner, and two sisters Gladys Cross Laubach and Frances Wynn.
