Mildred “Millie” M (Mordan) Peterman

Mildred “Millie” M. Peterman, 84, of Millville passed away Friday January 21, 2022 at her residence. She was born November 1, 1937 in Mordansville, a daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Hillard) Mordan.

She graduated from Bloomsburg High School class of 1955. Millie worked at Millville School District as a cook. She was a member of Orangeville United Church of Christ and treasured her church family and felt blessed by many cherished close friends. Millie enjoyed crafting, painting wooden animals, and had  a nack for creative decorating. Most of all she enjoyed baking and cooking for friends and family.

Mildred is survived by two children; Linda K. Rogers and companion Larry Williams of Orangeville, James D. Peterman and wife Kerri of Bloomsburg, four grandchildren; Shayne, Kiana, Jeffrey, and Ben, daughter-in-law Debbie Peterman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Harvey James Peterman, who passed away June 27, 2018, son Richard Peterman on September 24, 2005, grandson Sawyer Peterman on September 21, 2010, and son-in-law Richard L. Rogers on March 14, 2012.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday January 29, 2022 at noon at Orangeville United Church of Christ, 223 Main St., Orangeville with her pastor, Pastor Mark Rowell officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Millville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service at the Church.
