After living a life full of many blessings, Nancy Jane Remener, 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 28, 2018.
Nancy was born in Bloomsburg in 1935, the daughter of the late Clifton and Martha (Hock) Cole and attended Bloomsburg Schools. She lived most of her adult life in Millville, where she raised her family. She returned to Bloomsburg to live after retiring from Magee Carpet. After retiring she enjoyed working at and exhibiting arts and crafts at the Bloomsburg Fair.
Nancy was an avid bowler and loved crocheting blankets and toys, especially for her grandchildren. Her most enjoyable moments have been spent picnicking with her family and taking her children and grandchildren on outings. In recent years she enjoyed spending time with and taking bus trips with friends.
In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Rodriquez, brothers; Ed, Ray, and Cliff Cole, and sister, Grace Rance.
She is survived by sons, Steven (Loretta) Remener, and Michael Remener, her daughter, Vicki (Stew) Ackerman, grandchildren; Eli (Melinda) Remener, Adrienne (Ryan) Gallagher, Sadie (Lee) Havrilak, Mitchell Ackerman, great-grandchildren Pierce, Audrey, and Alice Remener, and two brothers; Robert (Evelyn) Cole, and Jimmy Cole.
A memorial service will be held Friday November 9, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Bloomsburg Christian Church, 107 Deussen Drive, Bloomsburg with her pastor, Eric Miller, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 pm until time of service.
