Obituary
Ola E. Stackhouse, 81, of Millville passed away on Sunday March 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 3, 1941 in Millville, a daughter of the late Walter and Oscie (Lyons) Gardner.
She graduated from Hughesville High School. Ola owned and operated Stackhouse Notary in Millville from 1976 until 1994. She was the District Judge in Millville for 18 years. She was a member of Pine Summit United Methodist Church, former member and board member of American Red Cross, and Paternal Police Lodge #12 in Newark, NJ.
Ola is survived by her husband Chester “Chet” Stackhouse, whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage with in October, two sons; Scott E. Stackhouse of Muncy, Dennis W. Stackhouse of Millville, and three grandchildren; Belinda, Seth, and Cole. As well as one brother Larry Gardner of Hughesville.
Ola was preceded in death by her parents as well as sister Ruth Crammoid, and brother Wayne L. Gardner.
Graveside services will be Thursday March 30, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Pine Summit Cemetery, 997 Church Rd, Unityville, PA, 17774 with Pastor Martin Parr officiating.
