Pearl Guffey Obituary

Pearl M. Guffey, 82, of Danville, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Grandview Nursing Home. She was born October 29, 1930 in Danville, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Roup. She enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther G. Guffey Sr. who passed away September 3, 1983 and two sons Luther Guffey Jr., Frances Guffey and six sister's Nora Raup, Laura Kepler, Hilda Walker, Helen Heddings, Jane Kase and Sarah "Liz" Lewis. She is survived by three sons David Guffey and his companion Cricket, Donald Guffey and John Guffey and his wife Pat and seven daughters Darlene and her husband Tim Attinger, Kandy and her husband Rick Lawton, Hilda Guffey and her companion Al, Margaret Guffey, Rose and her husband Terry Temple, Bonnie and her husband Bob Kipple and Starla and her husband Joe Suchodolski and twenty six grandchildren and forty seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson and three brothers. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home 435 Market St. Bloomsburg with Rev. Allen Acor officiating. Burial will be at Harmony Cemetery in Milton. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Friends unable to attend may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com
