Philip C. Fodness, age 72, of Orangeville, PA, went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at his home.
Phil was born on May 29, 1951, in South Bend, Indiana. A son of Betty Fodness, Danville, PA, and the late Kenneth Fodness. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Pamela K. Fodness, who passed in 1981.
Phil was a graduate of Millville High School, class of 1970. Last working for UPS in Pottsville, PA.
Phil obtained his private pilot’s license, he was President of the E.A.A. Chapter769. He belonged to the Nescopeck Model Airplane Club and also managed the Pendulum Band from Millville, PA. Phil enjoyed model airplanes, hunting, camping, and especially time with his family.
Phil is survived by his wife, the former Marilyn Kile Hock, whom he married on October 5, 2002. Along with his children, Tracy Brewer (husband Jeff Campbell) of Seattle, WA; Bryan Fodness (wife Jamie) of Layfette CO; Kristen Fodness of Berwick, PA. Stepchildren, Benjamin Hock (wife Bryna) of Millville, PA, Jonathan Hock (wife Sylvia) of Bloomsburg, PA, and Joshua Hock (wife Lucy Lucio) of Conroe, TX, grandchildren Gavin Brown, Nash Fodness, step grandchildren, Jenna Richardson, Logan Hock, Carter Hock, Aidan Hock, Kaleb Hock, Maxwell Hock, Mason Hock, Elijah Hock, Sofia Hock, and Camila Hock. As well as two brothers, Peter Fodness (wife Mary) of East Strousburg, PA, and Paul Fodness (wife Jill) of Riverside, PA.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Sunbury Airport-Campground, 800 Park Drive, Sunbury, PA, 17801.
