Phyllis J. (Boyle) Young

Phyllis J. Young, 92, of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Berwick Retirement Village II. She was born November 30, 1918 in Mifflinville, a daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Traugh Boyle. She graduated from Mifflinville High School. She waitressed at Rea & Derrick in Berwick and also at Magee Riter Automotive in Bloomsburg. She is a member of the Lime Ridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed TV Land and Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Young who passed away in 1994. She is survived by her daughter Carol and her husband David Harmon of Berwick and a son Steven Young of Mifflinville and a grandson David Harmon Jr. of Berwick and a brother Robert Boyle and his wife Gladys of Stony Brook Circle, Orangeville. Services will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home 435 Market St. Bloomsburg with her Pastor Terence Brosius officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 pm until the time of service
