R. Evelyn (Smith) Krueger

R. Evelyn Krueger, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday January 18, 2025 at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born August 31, 1935, a daughter of the late James and Marie (Knorr) Smith.

Evelyn was employed at Geisinger as an LPN, as well as doing private duty nursing. She was a member of Shiloh United church of Christ, Danville.

She was preceded in death by her husband David in 2008.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Sheila (Robert) Deihl of Elysburg, grandson Andrew (Jessica) Diehl, and a great-grandson Lukas Deihl of York.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
