Rachel M (Thomas) Beachel

Rachel M. Beachel, 79, of Turbotville passed away on Thursday July 17, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born September 7, 1945 in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Paul and Martha (Loss) Thomas.

She was a housewife and enjoyed helping her late husband Richard with farming. Rachel was a member of Pleasant View Wesleyan Church in Muncy for 57 years. She enjoyed gardening and baking.

Rachel is survived by her son Richard Beachel Jr. of Turbotville, two grandchildren: Noah Andrew Beachel of Turbotville, Felicity Roberson husband Robyn of Catawissa, and four sisters: Lena Susan of Mifflinburg, Carolyn Susan husband Samuel of Mifflinburg, Ruby Mitch husband Edward of Pottsgrove, and Miriam Witmer of Mifflinburg.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Richard L. Beachel Sr., who passed away on December 22, 2022, and sister Ruth Stroup.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday August 3, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, 994 E. Penn St., Muncy with her Pastor Stephen Smith officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
