Rachel M. (Stackhouse) Remley

Rachel M. Remley 90 of Berwick Pa.., went to be with the Lord Wednesday August 10, 2011 at Berwick Retirement Village ll. Born March 12, 1921 in Millville Pa, a daughter of the late Meyer Bert Stackhouse and Laura Warner Stackhouse. A graduate of Millville High school class of 1939. She worked at the former Woolworths in Bloomsburg, a manager at the former S&H Green Stamp store, Kentucky Fried chicken in Berwick, Candy land of Bloomsburg. Her hobbies included oil painting, working with ceramics, cooking and drawing. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her first husband Daniel J. Dooley and by her second husband Herbert C. Remley, two sisters Harriet Boslego and Julia Chango, two brothers Grant Stackhouse and Arthur Stackhouse. She is survived by a son Kelly Dooley of Mifflinville, and two daughters Patricia Knorr husband Clayton of Berwick and Connie Davenport of Towanda. Services will be11:00 Am Saturday August 13, 2011at Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home 435 Market St. Bloomsburg. The Rev. Allen Acor officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 AM till time of service. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Friends unable to attend may send condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com.
