Rebecca R. Johnson, 92, born on March 10, 1934, a daughter of the late V. Raymond and Florence R. (Fenstemaker) Welliver, and lived in Millville her whole life.
Rebacca enjoyed gardening with her roses and flowers, playing cards with her friends, traveling, camping in many parks in Florida for the winter months for many years. She made many friends and enjoyed the warm winter weather. While in Florida she became a member of the “Red Hats” Club and enjoyed meeting together. She was also a member of the Mill-Green United Methodist Church, Millville.
She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” L. Johnson, whom she married August 4, 1950. They celebrated their 76th anniversary on August 4, 2025, three children; Ginger S. Garner husband Larry of Opelika, AL, Wanda Delgado husband Milton of Bloomsburg, and Kenneth C. Johnson wife Amber of Millville. As well as four grandchildren; Brett C. Johnson of Millville, Drew J. Johnson of Mechanicsburg, PA, Kelly Exley of Opelika, AL, and Neil Garner of Lexington Park, MD. Additionally surviving are six great-grandchildren; Elyce, Brynn, Nolan, Aaron, Christian Johnson and Rhys Garner.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as brother Kendell Welliver and two sisters; Virginia Glasgow, Vivian Whitner.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother to all her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Services will be Thursday May 28, 2026, at 11:00 am at Millville United Methodist Church, 75 S. State St., Millville with her Pastor, Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
