Richard Deihl Obituary

Richard Deihl, 63, of Orangeville, passed away Saturday, January 01, 2011 at the Bloomsburg Hospital. He was born May 24, 1947 in Danville, a son of the late Leon and Virginia Buckalew Deihl. Rick graduated from Millville High School in 1965. After high school he served in the US Navy from 1965 until 1969. He worked at Young Farm Supply, Farrs Hardware and from 1971 until present he was the president of Deihl Vault and Precast, Inc. He has served on the Millville School board for thirty two years. He is a member of the Christian Gospel Fellowship, chairman of the board at Katy's Church. He is a member of the Central Susquehanna Builder Association, West Branch Builders Association, State College Builders Association, National Concrete Burial Vault Association, Natural Precast Concrete Association and Pennsylvania Precast Association. He is survived by his wife the former Jill Gordner with whom he married June 22, 1968, two sons Michael Deihl and his wife Faith, Matthew Deihl and his wife Brooke, four grandchildren Karley, Kirstyn, Kyle and Olyvia all of Orangeville, two brothers Ronald Deihl and his companion Penny Copeland of Bloomsburg, Daniel Deihl and his wife Joann of Danville, four sisters Deborah and her husband Victor Robbins of Millville, Peggy and her husband Larry Levan, Diane and her husband James Kehoe and Linda Demott and her companion Dwayne Wynings all of Bloomsburg. Service will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Christian Gospel Fellowship Route 42 Millville, with Pastor Paul Converse and Pastor John Brosious officiating. Burial will be at Millville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
