Richard "Rick" Cain Obituary

Richard E. “Rick” Cain, 64, of Bloomsburg went to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at his home.

Rick was born in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Richard E. and Dixie M. (Hock) Bardo Cain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Cain.

Rick graduated from Bloomsburg High School’s Class of 1975. He worked for Bechtel Power Co. at the local nuclear plant and in Midland, Michigan, as a quality control inspector, and continued his career as a commercial electrician.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities. He received several awards from the Pennsylvania Game Commission for their “Triple Trophy Award” program. He was a fun guy and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Rick is survived by his two brothers, Randy Cain and his wife, Linda, of Benton, and Todd M. Cain of Millville; stepbrother Joseph Bardo of Bloomsburg; stepsister Dixie Bardo of North Carolina; and nephews, Tyson Cain and Shale Bardo.
