Ruth E. (Weber) Root

Ruth E. Root 73 of 51 Penn St Transfer PA., formerly of Bloomsburg went to be with the lord on Saturday October 15, 2011 at her residence. She was born December 22, 1927 in Philadelphia Pa. a daughter of the late Henry and Ruth Small Weber. Ruth worked as a supervisor at I.M.O. industries in New Jersey retiring in 1985 after working their for 19 years. She attended schools in Philadelphia. Also lived in Staten Island a few years. Most of her life spent in Pennsylvania. Living in Bloomsburg from 1989-1994. In addition to her parents Ruth was preceded in death buy her husband Elmer ( Maury ) Root and a brother Robert Weber and sister Doris Raymond She is survived by two daughters Linda Miller and husband Pete of Transfer Pa. and Donna Kimble and husband Richard of Arkansas. One step-son Dennis Root and his wife Veronica of Conn.Also a brother William Weber of Hatboro Pa. and sister Eileen Rosini Town N.J.There are six grandchildren and I great grandchild. Services will be private with burial will be in Elan Memorial Park. Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
