Sharon Kay (Holloway) Whitmire

Sharon Kay Whitmire, 58, of Millville passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born September 14, 1963 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of Charlotte (Musselman) Holloway-Brink and the late James Holloway Sr.

She graduated from Millville High School class of 1982 and worked at Family Dollar. Sharon enjoyed going to the Millville Senior Center, talking to friends, playing bingo and cards.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Megan L. Kovitch married to Jean of Mt. Carmel, granddaughter Hailey, brother James “Jimmy” Holloway Jr. wife Darnell of Altoona, sister Irene Hamilton husband Ray of Millville, and stepfather Fred Brink.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, daughter Ashley, and brother Bryon E. Holloway.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday February 15, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with Mike Woolcock officiating.
