Shirley Mae (Smith) Kessler

Shirley Mae Kessler, 94, of Millville, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Danville.  She was born August 24, 1927 in Bear Gap, PA, the daughter of the late Kermit and Annetta (Haak) Smith.

Shirley, and her late husband, Kenneth M. Kessler, lived in Prescott, Arizona from 1968 until 2013 before returning to Millville.  Prior to moving to Arizona, she worked at Girton Manufacturing in Millville.  Shirley was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church.

Shirley is survived by her son, Robert Kessler and his wife Cheryl  of Millville; two grandsons, Matthew Kessler and Shawn Kessler, and five great-grandchildren; Madison Kessler, Avery Kessler, Isabella Kessler, Gabriel Kessler and Carter Kessler.  She was also survived by brother, Clark Smith.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Mill-Green United Methodist Church, 466 Old Greenwood Road, Millville, PA 17846 with Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating.  Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.  Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com.  The Bunnell Funeral Home, 179 E.
