Stanley William Griffin Sr.

Stanley William Griffin Sr., 81, of Orangeville died on Tuesday November 19, 2024, a patient of Glenbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation, Berwick. He was a resident there for almost four years and previously resided in Orangeville for about 26 years.

He was born on Thursday June 3, 1943 in Long Branch, N.J., a the son of the late Charles and Georgianna (Phillips) Griffin. Stanley graduated from Long Branch High School class of 1961. He worked as a plumber, carpenter, meat manager, and owned his own business all in New Jersey. Then in October of 1991, he moved his family to Pennsylvania and lived there for the rest of his life. He was a hard worker and was always willing to help anyone in need.

He was passionate about history, woodworking, gardening, learning, and spending time with his family Stanley was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Stanley is survived by his wife the former Anna M. Maulbeck of Orangeville, his children: Stacey W. Griffin of Danville, Carrie A. Griffin of Orangeville, Stanley W. Griffin Jr. of Bloomsburg, Kathleen Griffin of New Jersey, Scott Griffin of New Jersey, sister Nancy Griffin of Philadelphia, and grandson Caiden Jenkins of Bloomsburg.
