Terry Wilber Zeisloft, 38, of Bloomsburg (Jerseytown) passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born January 25, 1987, in Bloomsburg. Terry was adopted at the age of 7 to Gerald and Patricia (Neyhard) Zeisloft, Jerseytown, becoming the fourth child in a household of 5 children. He was baptized and remained a member at Jerseytown UMC.
Terry graduated from Millville High School in 2005, and then went on to Pennsylvania College of Technology. He graduated from the Diesel Mechanic program in 2008. He went on to manage the family’s store, Zeisloft Farm Equipment, in Jerseytown and was known to have the ability to memorize the parts numbers of stocked and needed items.
As well as being known as an unofficial Mayor of Jerseytown, Terry was a proud member of the Millville Fire Company Fire Police, where he can be seen helping to keep the Jerseytown intersection clear for trucks coming through on calls. He took pride in helping at the Millville Fireman’s Carnival, providing assistance on the kiddie swings, then later the crosswalks. Terry also became a member of Continental Fire Company (Danville).
Terry and his friend Barry Smeltz enjoyed fishing in local streams, which lead him to join the Fishing Creek Sportsman Association.
Terry will be missed by his parents as well as three brothers: Nathan Zeisloft; Aaron Zeisloft and his wife, Jennifer, of Naperville, Ill.; and Jason Zeisloft and his wife, Jennifer, of Bloomsburg; and sister: Jennifer Zeisloft of Bloomsburg (Jerseytown); and six nieces and nephews (Faith, Calla, Mable, Haven, Ava, and Arison) who will miss Terry being the “Fun Uncle” playing with them and fishing at the family pond. Terry was also very proud of Bella who was the sunshine of his life.
Terry enjoyed the company of his family, aunt and uncles, 46 first cousins, and extended family at holidays, picnics, cabin gatherings, and fun times. His infectious laugh will remain part of his legacy.
A memorial service will be held March 15, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Millville Fire Hall, 28 W Main St., Millville with Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating for family and friends to share lighthearted Terry stories. A luncheon will immediately follow.
