Theodore "Teet" Nelson Adams, known fondly to friends and family as Teet, left this world at the age of 90 on November 27, 2025. Born on February 27, 1935, in Berwick, PA, a son of the late Harry Nelson and Lillian (Sult) Adams. Teet's life was a rich tapestry woven with hard work, laughter, and boundless generosity.
Teet was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He valued the time spent outdoors, whether it was riding his side by side, exploring trails on horseback, hunting, or sitting quietly by a lake with a fishing rod in hand. His love for nature was only matched by his passion for the community as one of the first members of the Benton Rodeo and the Columbia County Posse.
After a fulfilling career at #1 Construction, Teet's industrious spirit led him to start his own excavation business and a service hauling the Amish. You often could often find Teet in his butcher shop or having a pig roast.
Teet's family was the cornerstone of his existence. He is survived by his children, Jerome "Jerry" Adams and wife Cindy of Dorrence, and Darnell Holloway and husband Jimmy of Johnstown. He was a cherished grandfather to Dan Sharrow and Ashley Temple and her husband Jeff. His role as a great-grandfather to Kolbie Sharrow, Theo Temple, and Alex Hernandez brought him immense joy and pride. Teet also leaves behind step-grandchildren, Candie Fausnaught-Noss, Donny Fausnaught, Miranda, Tylor, and Taylor Holloway, step-great-grandchildren Emily Temple, Miranda Temple, and his sister Mary Eveland of Berwick.
Teet was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynne Meeker, and their two infant children, Theodore Nelson Adams Jr. and Donna Kay Adams. As well as his three sisters; Dory Kile, Helen Stepanski, and Betty Klinger.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday December 4, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville. Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com.
