Violet Viola (Straub) Ulrich

Violet Viola Ulrich, 77, of Bloomsburg passed away on Thursday December 28, 2023, at her residence. She was born January 29, 1946, in Danville, a daughter of the late Russell Lee and Pearl (Beachel) Straub.

She attended Danville Schools. Violet was a social member at Arthur Bardo Post 564 in Millville. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, coloring, cooking, baking, and most of all spending time with her family. Violet was known for always lending a helping hand.

Violet is survived by two daughters; Gail Force husband Michael of Bloomsburg, Gloria Welliver husband Thomas of Bloomsburg, six grandchildren; Lisa Force, Victoria Force, Michael Force Jr., Randy I. Payne, Rachel Miller, Rebecca Payne, and one great-granddaughter Marci Miller.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Edward Ulrich who passed away January 14, 2008, and brother Calvin Straub.

Services will be Friday January 5, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with Pastor Aaron Duncan officiating. A burial will follow at Washingtonville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
