Walter F. "Corky" Reibsome

Walter F. "Corky" Reibsome Jr. 81, formerly of Glenn Ave. Bloomsburg, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Emmanuel Nursing Center in Danville. He was born July 18, 1931 in Danville a son of the late Walter R. and Mary Law Reibsome Sr. He attended Bloomsburg Schools. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is a former member of the Bloomsburg American Legion Post 273 and the Bloomsburg VFW Post 804 and the Bloomsburg Moose and the Bloomsburg Archery Club. He enjoyed archery, darts, playing pool and ice sculpting. Walter was employed at the Hotel Magee; he was the manager at the Scranton Commons, JJ Mike Produce and Columbia-Montour Aging Office, Inc. retiring in July 2, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Johnson Reibsome who passed away October 5, 2008. He is survived by two sons Walter R. "Skip" Reibsome III of Bozeman, MT and Michael Reibsome and his wife Lisa of Holt, MI and six grandchildren and five sisters Doris Miller, S. Louise Craig, Priscilla "Peggy" Shrawder and B. Joann Kelly all of Bloomsburg and Janet and her husband C.W. "Bill" Pursel of Lewisburg. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com.
