William A. Phillips Jr.

William A Phillips Jr, 74, of Millville, PA, sadly left us on January 31st, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  William was born August 18, 1949, in Philadelphia.  Son of late William A. Phillips Sr and Margaret Phillips (nee Perry).

William graduated from Father Judge High School then enlisted in the United States Army, where he served two tours in Vietnam.  William was a Mason of the Masonic Lodge where he was a Shriner and was a member of the Bloomsburg VFW Post 804, Bloomsburg American Legion Post 273, VFW Catawissa Post 8306, and Bloomsburg Lodge Number 436.

William is survived by his wife Anna Phillips (nee Arleth), whom he married October 5th, 2001.  Two stepsons Patrick McNulty and wife Linda of Philadelphia, Brian McNulty of Freeland, four grandchildren, Rebecka, Haley, Tyler, and Jase, four great grandchildren; Jake, Noah, Ava and Maci, and two sisters, Denise Newell and husband Joseph of North Carolina, and Marian Diehl and husband Thomas of Pennsylvania.

William was preceded in death by his parents as well as two sisters Peggyanne Wright & Judy Kelly.

William is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA, 18940, on March 12th, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may send online condolences to www.bunnellfuneralhome.com. The Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., Millville is handling arrangements.
