William A. "Wild Bill" Shetler

William A."Wild Bill" Shetler, 85, of Danville Pa., went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 06, 2012 at the Geisinger Medical Center. He was born February 12, 1927 in Turbotville, Pa, a son of the late Frank and Helen Smith Shetler. He attended from Turbotville High School. He was a truck driver for over 35 plus years, he retired in 1995. He enjoyed planting a garden, listening to country music, and going to the local fairs and carnivals. He enjoyed riding his 1948 74 overhead Harley Davison Motorcycle in his younger years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son William A. Shetler Jr and a .grandson Wesley Broody and three brothers Dave, Lawrence and Bryon Shetler and two sisters Laura Burgett and Beverly Tanner. He is survived by his wife the former Mary Eifert with whom he has been married to for 23 years and three daughters Mabel and her husband Craig Barroll of Drums, Deb Confer and Wanda Shetler both of Millville, three sons Tom Shetler of Danville, Dave Shetler and John Shetler both of Millville and two step-sons David Brown and his wife Samantha of Bloomsburg, Denise Brown and his wife Kelly of Riverside and five step-daughters Judy and her husband Tom Snyder of Mt. Top, Virginia and her husband James Cheatwood of Anderson, S.C., Diane and her husband Paul Thomas of Catawissa, Kathy and her husband Nick Hansel of York and Mary and her husband Rusty Brendenner of Millville and seven grandchildren Wesley Hack and his wife Becky, Wilson Strauser, Kristine Broody, Amanda Broody, Mitch Shetler, Nick Shetler and Emily Shetler and four great grandchildren Kyle, Aaron Hack, Adrianna Lata and Jasper Shetler, two sisters Anna Bitler of Clarkstown and Doris Earl of Utah and a brother Dio Maine Shetler of Turbotville. Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville, with Pastor Allen Acor officiating. Burial will be at Katy's Cemetery.
